BEM-working group
‘retrofitting’
SAVE-THE-DATE November 28, 2024 / 09:30 – 11:30 a.m. / Moderation: Michael Munz
With a view to a carbon-neutral future, the retrofitting of existing vehicles harbours great potential. The BEM Retrofitting Working Group provides a platform to shed light on how existing vehicle fleets can be converted to electromobility and thus operated more sustainably. This approach not only helps to reduce emissions, but also conserves valuable resources in the manufacturing process. Retrofitting currently still plays a subordinate role in the market – we want to change that together.
Under the moderation of Michael Munz, the prerequisites, requirements and potential of retrofit kits for various vehicle types will be discussed. The working group also defines what ‘retrofit’ means and how we can set clear positions and standards for the market.
The BEM working groups create valuable synergies through in-depth dialogue. Our working group meetings offer the opportunity to formulate specific political statements and develop concrete recommendations for action that promote a sustainable and future-oriented mobility transition.
