Heads of the industry: A portrait of Mustafa Atik
As Managing Director and Vice President, Mustafa Atik has shaped Turkey’s most important photovoltaic and solar trade fair for many years. In 2019, he set another milestone and initiated the country’s first eMobility event together with a visionary team. This shows his willingness to play an active role in tackling global challenges.
Although his studies were originally focussed on foreign languages and teaching, Mustafa Atik understands not only the technological developments, but also the growing demands for clean, efficient and future-oriented mobility: solar energy provides the clean electricity that electromobility needs to function in a climate-neutral way. His many years of experience in organising events show that he not only observes markets, but also plays a constructive role in shaping them. He creates platforms where companies, experts and political players come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of mobility together – at an international level.
Mustafa Atik has been part of the BEM team since 2021, first as Turkey Representative, then as Head of International BEM Representative Offices. Thanks to his commitment, important partnerships have been established, including the cooperation with Automechanika in Istanbul, the new BEM representative office in Dubai and the cooperation with the ‘elektrotechnik’ trade fair format of Messe Dortmund.
With his commitment and vision, Mustafa Atik is driving forward the international networking of the industry and thus making an important contribution to the visibility and relevance of BEM in the international market environment of New Mobility.
